The Kelly Wensing Community Fund (Kelly's Fund) is a 501c3 set up as a memorial to her lifelong commitment to leadership and organization in the Indianapolis community and in support of the local service industry.
MISSION The mission of Kelly's Fund is to address food insecurity, job readiness, and culinary education through a multigenerational approach to service industry support, local partnerships, and student training via the Junior Chef Academy.
VISION The vision of Kelly's Fund is to be Indianapolis' leading philanthropic voice for food education and food service. This effort is guided by five areas of focus:
Providing support to sustain, enhance, and expand opportunities for youth in culinary through theJunior Chef Academy.
Providing opportunities and connectivity for research and data on food insecurity and "food as medicine".
Supporting and expanding the influence and recognition of the Indianapolis culinary scene.
Providing significant financial support, recognition, and opportunity for local chefs through partnerships and food sport.
Providing ongoing, high-quality culinary experiences for diners that increase program awareness, support, and income.
